The struggle between drones and helicopters in Ukraine

.ON JULY 31ST pictures of a Russian Mi-8 transport chopper, collapsed and burning, began spreading on social networks. That by itself was certainly not unusual: Ukrainian powers have obliterated ratings of helicopters given that the Russian intrusion began. So much more surprising was the case in the Ukrainian push that this chopper had actually been actually downed by a tiny drone.

A video clip discharged by the nation’s armed forces a handful of times later appeared to provide support to that claim: the footage (view below) presents a drone attacking yet another Russian aircraft, this time an Mi-28 assault chopper, apparently compeling it to make an urgent landing. Was actually these fortunate favorites– or indicators of a breakthrough in airborne combat?
